It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gnist Diamant sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Doctor Devil sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Cookie Dough who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Sharp Mind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Corinne Simb couldn't come out from behind the leader, Doctor Devil. Gnist Diamant galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Sharp Mind accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Sharp Mind showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Doctor Devil was first on the homestretch followed by Corinne Simb and Gimme Love.






Winner of todays race was Doctor Devil. Corinne Simb came in second. Gimme Love became third.
