One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sunset Moonshine was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nice Meeting You sprinted to the front.

Sunset Moonshine took the lead after 1000m. Limerick Rake didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nice Meeting You galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sunset Moonshine today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jumping Striker gallopped for 20 m.

Sunset Moonshine didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Sunset Moonshine sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Limerick Rake made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sunset Moonshine.
