The sun was shining on Arvika today. A perfect day for trotting.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Opposing Tropic took the lead after a very quick start.




Opposing Tropic was in fine shape and held the lead.




Sergei Sultan looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Waldner couldn't come out from behind the leader, Opposing Tropic.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Opposing Tropic followed by Waldner and Us Navy Nuclear. Lane two Sergei Sultan followed by Les Équitable Choix and Bless The Child.




Opposing Tropic didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Ice Cream Girl galoped for 40 m. Opposing Tropic sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Bless The Child was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Waldner never caught up with Opposing Tropic who won. Les Équitable Choix came third.
