The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Lieksa today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rap Francias took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Ababysmorningglory, Gin Fizz, Rap Francias, Listening Wolf, Capi, Lone Hero, Ridealong Long, Attention Please.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Gin Fizz accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Listening Wolf was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Gin Fizz sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Listening Wolf started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Ridealong Long sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
