The sun was shining on Kaukonen and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Arch Carrier sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Windy Feeling quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Flying Sound looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Flying Sound sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
