It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tripping Amazon sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Little Moment started to galop and lost 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Tripping Amazon today. It continued in the lead.



Tripping Amazon kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Tripping Amazon. Little Moment came in second. Saint Of Blue became third.
