One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ourasi was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Beautiful Galaxy, Schön Geschichte, Zij, Izidorius Bakaou, Ourasi, Shakespears Sister, Rinaldo Palema, Baby Skirt.

The leader got disturbed by something and Izidorius Bakaou took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Izidorius Bakaou followed by Shakespears Sister and Baby Skirt. Lane two Schön Geschichte followed by Beautiful Galaxy and Falling Sunshine.

With only a little left of the race Izidorius Bakaou galoped for 40 m. Shakespears Sister speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Ourasi started to galopp and lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Jesper Ängel to trotting so they were disqualified.

Baby Skirt sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
