One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pretty Wish tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Shmohawk that came steaming ahead. Vesper Glory suddenly started to galop. Andre H Stensen had to struggle to get Vesper Glory to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Giant Fly saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Galway to trotting so they were disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Galway galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Orecchietti looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Orecchietti kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Helpful Frenzy never caught up with Orecchietti who won. Shmohawk came third.
