One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bad Dream could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Perfect Wind was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Perfect Wind today. It continued in the lead.

Perfect Wind kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Perfect Wind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Jailhouse won. Bad Dream came in second. Perfect Wind caught third place.
