The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Claudette could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Claudette was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Lou Siffer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Happy Girl looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rugged Action couldn't come out from behind the leader, Claudette. De Débardeur was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Lou Siffer suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Happy Girl accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Claudette seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Lou Siffer galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race De Débardeur galoped for 30 m. Happy Girl speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Beautiful Amazon, 2 Rugged Action, 3 Claudette.
