One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Climbing Asteroid sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Perfect Cake galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Airstrike saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Airstrike was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Toughest Street was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Airstrike galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Airstrike followed by Smokey Puff and Toughest Street. Lane two Climbing Asteroid followed by Tears Of Pride and Confidence Jewel. Toughest Street galloped for 50 m. Maharajah galloped for 10 m. Look Away galloped for 20 m.



Climbing Asteroid suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Airstrike galop. Airstrike lost 20 m.




No-one could catch Climbing Asteroid today who won before Tears Of Pride and Toughest Street.
