The sun was shining on Oviken and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

King Giant tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Legend that came steaming ahead. Prince Lightning was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and United Reform sprinted to the front.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Lone Pirate saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Route66 Racer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Bumble Bee Slim started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

United Reform suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Fighting Legend sprinted over the finishline before Lone Pirate and Yellow Thunder.
