The sun was shining on Lycksele and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were S:t Petersburg Miracle. Rinaldo Palema ended up behind the leader. Ride The Lightning got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Frutti Della Vita started to galop and lost 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Curious Mind sprinted to the front.

Smiling Gold looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Super Tyrant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Curious Mind. Ride The Lightning galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Curious Mind today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Frutti Della Vita galoped for 10 m. Midsummer Magpie galloped way to long and was disqualified. Curious Mind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Whispering Jewel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Curious Mind.
