One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lucky Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Bold Queen galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Glorious Spring won the race after a spectacular finish.
