The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stopping Maid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Insane Top started to galop and lost 30 m.




Crusader Ice was in fine shape and held the lead.




Crusader Ice was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Crusader Ice followed by Insane Top and Pug Rug. Lane two Spring Spring Spring followed by Stopping Maid and Come On Shrek.



Spring Spring Spring was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Crusader Ice were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Crusader Ice galop. Crusader Ice lost 30 m.




Insane Top kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pug Rug and Stopping Maid.
