One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Court Order tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fighting Ship that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Fighting Ship clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Court Order accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Court Order sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Court Order today who won before Fighting Ship and Amy Topaz.
