One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sigue Sigue Sputnik tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Clever Sword that came steaming ahead. Solid Comet was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep Diamond Heat to trotting so they were disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Holy Girl clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Solid Comet followed by Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Troubling Amazon. Lane two Clever Sword followed by Light Girl and Holy Girl.



Solid Comet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sigue Sigue Sputnik kept the speed the whole finish and won before Clever Sword and Solid Comet.
