One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Punching Work. Inspiration Victory ended up behind the leader. Prince Héritier got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Hans Petter Tholfsen wanted a little to much in the start and Starstruck Feeling galoped for 50 m.

Evolution saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Evolution clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Gentleman Satellite was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Evolution today. It continued in the lead.

Inspiration Victory speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Punching Work sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
