One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Better Then Best tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Chase My Shadow that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Better Then Best started to galop and lost 30 m.

Think Big quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Think Big was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Better Then Best was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Gil Yotin galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Think Big followed by Lone Plan and Better Then Best. Lane two Chase My Shadow followed by Helpful Striker and Little Towel.

With only a little left of the race Little Towel galoped for 40 m. Think Big sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Think Big kept the speed the whole finish and won before Lone Plan and Chase My Shadow.
