It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Try To Beat Me could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Crossing Winter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Day Dream who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Waving Wardrobe sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.



Shadow Heart galloped way to long and was disqualified. Thunder Road sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.






No-one could catch Thunder Road today who won before Try To Beat Me and Final Desition.
