The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mikkeli this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Northern Light found a gap and took the lead. Power Knight followed before Ice Cold Flower. Brave Platinum was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Prince Star quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Ice Cold Flower sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Ice Cold Flower today. It continued in the lead.




Ice Cold Flower was still in the lead after 2000m.



Ice Cold Flower looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Power Knight, 2 Northern Light, 3 Undertones.
