One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Growing Pirate. Happy New Year ended up behind the leader. Jumping Missile got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Cheval Noir showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Great Big Boy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Sneaky Pressure was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Happy New Year sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Pembroke looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Happy New Year put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Happy New Year sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Sneaky Pressure galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Turn It Over sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
