One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Royal Star sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Messiah, Shooting Bear, Bedazzled, Texas King, Blitz Thunder, Royal Star, Pas Mal, Death Metal.




Royal Star took the lead after 1000m. Texas King didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Royal Star today. It continued in the lead.



Royal Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Death Metal won the race after a spectacular finish.
