It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stopping Scout found a gap and took the lead. Thunder Strong followed before Hard Legend. When the startcar left the field Graziani started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sliding Scope sprinted to the front.

Mr Millenium sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mr Millenium followed by Stopping Scout and Good Looking Architecture. Lane two Holy Grove followed by Hard Legend and Dean.

Mr Millenium sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Sea Chaser galoped for 30 m. Hard Legend speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Björn Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sliding Scope started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Good Looking Architecture sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
