One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Shadow F. G. tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Madame Pastis that came steaming ahead. Shadow F. G. was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Watching You galloped way to long and was disqualified. Ride The Bullet suddenly started to galop. Claes Eskilsson had to struggle to get Ride The Bullet to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Fagerviks Obelix Blixt suddenly started to galop. Anders L Lundin had to struggle to get Fagerviks Obelix Blixt to tror again and succeded after 20 m.

Fagerviks Obelix Blixt saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Set The Trend who started to galop and lost 40 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
