One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flying Colors was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Glorious Wish quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Flying Tiger started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Fint For Resten sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fint For Resten followed by Dr Alban and Glorious Wish. Lane two Flying Colors followed by Sergeant Pirate and Flying Tiger.



With only a little left of the race Flying Colors galoped for 30 m. Fint For Resten sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Sergeant Pirate made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flying Colors.
