One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Burning Desire could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. La Noyée started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




As You Please looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jag Du Bellouet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Burning Desire. Fighting Folder was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Burning Desire followed by As You Please and Kivoli. Lane two Jag Du Bellouet followed by Criminal Fligth and Fighting Folder.




Burning Desire didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Jag Du Bellouet galloped way to long and was disqualified. Kivoli galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Burning Desire kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






As You Please won. Burning Desire came in second. Criminal Fligth caught third place.
