One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ticking Love tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Turning Winter that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Orange Lady, Turning Princess, Amazing Madness, Viens Véritable, Arrière-pensée, Angry Grey Rat, Turning Winter, Sleeping Twister. Ticking Love galloped way to long and was disqualified. Gorgeous Diary started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Arrière-pensée took the lead after 1000m. Angry Grey Rat didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Turning Winter suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Arrière-pensée followed by Viens Véritable and Orange Lady. Lane two Angry Grey Rat followed by Sleeping Twister and Turning Princess.

With only a little left of the race Angry Grey Rat galoped for 10 m. Orange Lady was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Arrière-pensée sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Claes Sjöström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Miss Giron started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Angry Grey Rat won the race after a spectacular finish.
