One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blanc De Blanc tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Blue Boy that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fleet Flower sprinted to the front.




Fleet Flower clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Fleet Flower was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Big Frenzy gallopped for 50 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Hey Boy gallopped for 10 m.



Fleet Flower sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Fleet Flower today who won before Blue Boy and Blanc De Blanc.
