The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Sioux Fighter found a gap and took the lead. Play It Fast followed before Rosie Kemp. When the startcar left the field Tabasco Queen started to galop and lost 20 m. This is the positions after 500m. Rosie Kemp, Sabretooth, City Girl, Play It Fast, Sioux Fighter, Modest Diamond, Jet Fortune, Tabasco Queen. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Rosie Kemp was still in the lead after 1500m. Rosie Kemp kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. With only a little left of the race Jet Fortune galoped for 40 m.
