One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Platinum Work was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. driver couldn't keep Softer Than Silk to trotting so they were disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Softer Than Silk who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Jaja looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pointing Thought couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Movement.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pointing Thought followed by Jaja and Montana. Lane two Rugged Movement followed by Platinum Work and Agnar.



Pointing Thought kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Rugged Movement today who won before Pointing Thought and Jaja.
