The weather had been good all week and Haapajärvi was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Little Flying Squirrel. Blancheflour ended up behind the leader. Five Of Hearts got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Little Flying Squirrel was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Five Of Hearts looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blancheflour couldn't come out from behind the leader, Little Flying Squirrel.




Little Flying Squirrel was still in the lead after 1500m.



Little Flying Squirrel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Five Of Hearts made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Little Flying Squirrel.
