One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quickie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Welcome Laponia that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Holiday Darling sprinted to the front. Ilaria Jet galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Holiday Darling followed by Spicy Svensson and Welcome Laponia. Lane two Quickie followed by Étudier Mon Équitable and Quicker Lady.



Holiday Darling were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Final standings. 1 Étudier Mon Équitable, 2 Quickie, 3 Welcome Laponia.
