One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Showpiece Shanty found a gap and took the lead. Götalill followed before Che Guevara.




Götalill quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Che Guevara started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Götalill was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Showpiece Shanty sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
