One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were I'm The Scatman. Amazing Rocket ended up behind the leader. Goofy Madness got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Roger Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Goofy Madness galoped for 40 m. I'm The Scatman suddenly started to galop. Claes Svensson had to struggle to get I'm The Scatman to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Goofy Madness sprinted to the front. I'm The Scatman was disturbed and galoped 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Goofy Madness who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Happy Paradigm sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Saint-Étienne sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
