One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

The Orient Express was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Lars Marklund wanted a little to much in the start and Ratte Larockma galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Målløs, Fast Missile, Frozen Fist, Pas Mal, Modify Brave, Ritterkreuz Larockma, Requiescat In Pace, The Orient Express.

Fast Missile sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. The Orient Express was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Modify Brave accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Hottest Subject started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Frozen Fist suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Hottest Subject galoped for 10 m. Frozen Fist kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Frozen Fist today who won before Requiescat In Pace and Modify Brave.
