One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wonderboy Alex tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Court Order that came steaming ahead. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Court Order galoped for 50 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Court Order started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Maestoso looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Yagoz couldn't come out from behind the leader, Court Order. Wonderboy Alex galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Yagoz made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Court Order.
