The sun was shining on Mohawk Racetrack and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Waving Witch was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Shadowless Sword started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Disconnect clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Fawltys Strong Solution suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Disconnect followed by Waving Witch and Tough Investigation. Lane two Hillsong Rebecka followed by Hogan Boy and Dream Of Fire. Sleeping Cake galloped for 30 m. Shadowless Sword started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Disconnect sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Dream Of Fire was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Red King kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Tough Investigation today who won before Knight Rider and Waving Witch.
