One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Vagabond could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Erik Adielsson wanted a little to much in the start and Poker Face galoped for 20 m.

Waving Wardrobe saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Vagabond galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Lonely Starshine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lonely Starshine followed by Farbror Bosse and Old Pirate. Lane two Poker Face followed by Peach Blossom and Heavy Sword. Gorgeous Diary galloped for 30 m.

Lonely Starshine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Starstruck Starlight galop. Starstruck Starlight lost 10 m. Waving Wardrobe galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Heavy Sword won the race after a spectacular finish.
