One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starstruck Starlight was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Heikki Hietanen wanted a little to much in the start and Starstruck Starlight galoped for 50 m.




Curly Lashes saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Brave Girl who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Curly Lashes clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Brave Girl suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Curly Lashes today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Starstruck Starlight galoped for 10 m. Curly Lashes were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

driver couldn't keep Curly Lashes to trotting so they were disqualified.




Ghostly Wardrobe won the race after a spectacular finish.
