It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lamino was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and The Fast Turnover sprinted to the front. Pegasus galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Walking Knight looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Climbing Knight was first on the homestretch followed by Dandelion and Lamino.

Why Die won the race after a spectacular finish.
