The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tailwind tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fratello Bravo that came steaming ahead. Per Lennartsson wanted a little to much in the start and Tailwind galoped for 40 m.




Miss Ireland saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Focused Ship saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Focused Ship didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Focused Ship galoped for 50 m. Tailwind suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Tailwind galop. Tailwind lost 40 m.




Fratello Bravo won. Miss Ireland came in second. Bene Progetto caught third place.
