It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Somewhere In Time. Aim High ended up behind the leader. Knockout Wood got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

No Limits saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Breaking Wind took the lead after 1000m. No Limits didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Aurore Royale saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

No Limits speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Aurore Royale won the race after a spectacular finish.
