The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Vaggeryd this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Solarscape was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Walnut Grove Willie was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Cassius quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Maransin took the lead after 1000m. Hay Hunter didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Sea Hawk galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Hay Hunter accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Hay Hunter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

General Bomb made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Solarscape.
