One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Pie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Il Sogno Reale was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Tempting Pie was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Il Sogno Reale who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Tempting Pie was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Tempting Pie was still in the lead after 1500m.



Guardian Angel litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
