One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cassio sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Octopus Garden was in fine shape and held the lead. Punching Momentum started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Security Chief clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Octopus Garden followed by Cassio and Advanced Theory. Lane two In The Air followed by Security Chief and Nightclubbing.




Cassio didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Run Forever was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Cassio looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch In The Air today who won before Cassio and Octopus Garden.
