The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sergeant Folder could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Rocket sprinted to the front.

Close Rocket clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Curly Summer accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Super Star Seven gallopped for 50 m.

Curly Summer didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Curly Summer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Stopping Bomb, 2 Sergeant Folder, 3 Curly Summer.
