The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Contanti took the lead after a very quick start. Golden Oppertunity saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Contanti started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Golden Oppertunity was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Heaven Can Wait galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Golden Oppertunity looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Strong Mustache was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Lars Wester tried a little too much on the homestretch and Strong Mustache started to galopp and lost 50 m. Golden Oppertunity didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
