It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Famous Twister was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. I Will Survive showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Viens Véritable saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Fromage Fromage was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Whispering Daffodil galop. Whispering Daffodil lost 20 m.




Famous Twister sprinted over the finishline before Viens Véritable and Crossing Necklace.
