The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Östersund this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Better Look Down found a gap and took the lead. Tears Of Ice followed before Grasping Maid. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m.




Tears Of Ice saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.




I Need Ice sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Royal Gigolo to trotting so they were disqualified.




I Need Ice was still in the lead after 1500m.



Grasping Maid litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Royal Gigolo galop. Royal Gigolo lost 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Grasping Maid. Tears Of Ice came in second. I Need Ice became third.
